NYC Event Highlights

Our thanks and appreciation to Miami University’s Farmer School of Business for including 1809 Capital in Miami’s “Wall Street Week” in New York City.

Our team had two productive days in NYC, starting with a great turnout at Tanner Smiths for an 1809 Capital Limited Partner and Miami University alumni event. It was fantastic to reconnect with familiar faces from Miami University and the 1809 Capital network.

We also participated in the weeks Alternative Asset Management day hosted by Lytical Ventures. The day was highlighted by a panel discussion led by Steve Berg and a talk on Venture Capital and Institutional Asset Management led by 1809 Capital Partner Mark Richey.

The day concluded with a networking event at Lytical Ventures, bringing together Miami University alumni, Wall Street Week students, and industry professionals. Attendees received updates from Dean Jenny Darroch and Mark Richey on the latest achievements and future strategies of Miami University Farmer School of Business and 1809 Capital’s impact on the Miami mission.

Excited for our upcoming 1809 Capital and Miami alumni innovation programs in San Francisco on February 14th and Cincinnati on March 1st. Stay tuned for more updates.
